Experience Shooting Way Out There

This class is ideal for the hunter who plans to head out west to hunt as well as hunters who shoot predators and other game out at longer ranges. We will build on your foundation of basic rifle marksmanship fundamentals, optic selection and set-up, wind/weather, ballistics, milling targets, minute of angle, and much more. You will have the opportunity to engage targets out to 1000 yards, and after successfully completing this class you will have a high degree of confidence with your equipment and hitting targets at distance.

Instruction

All instruction is given by United States Marine Veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This class is taught from a military standpoint but is geared towards practical applications like big game hunting.

Rifle Selection

This class is ideal for the hunter who plans to head out west to hunt as well as hunters who shoot predators and other game out at longer ranges. That being said, for ensured success we allow calibers from 22-250/.223 and up.

Class Size

The class size will be limited to 12 students to optimize instruction time for each individual shooter.

Deposit and Pre-registration

Because of the nature of long range shooting, there are additional logistics involved for this class. To help us plan, prepare, and ensure the best possible experience for students, you must be pre-registered and a non-refundable deposit of $250 is due at pre-registration.

The remaining balance of the class fee is due two weeks prior to the class. Due to the class size restrictions, we are only able to enroll the first twelve (12) students. Get your deposit in well in-advance to secure your spot.

Our students have fun safely learning life-saving skills, and we know you will too. Our classes have many students in them, and these policies were created to ensure that we are able to deliver the best possible experience to you and all of the other students who sign up to learn and develop skills with us. We appreciate having you as our students!

  • Deposits are non-refundable: Deposits do allow us to hold your seat in the class, and we encourage you to reserve your seat in the class as soon as possible. We pay for the reservation of the range, and class locations, for each student in-advance and therefore the deposit amounts are non-refundable.
  • One-time rescheduling: We understand things come up and life happens, therefore you may re-schedule your class date only ONE TIME, and you must notify us 24 hours before the start time of the class.
  • Short-notice: No re-scheduling is allowed, and no refunds will be given, within 24 hours of the class start time, nor after the class begins.
  • Re-scheduling as the first option: if you are not able to make it to a class, and provide written notice more than 24 hours in-advance of the class start time, we require that you re-schedule to the next available class date as the first option.
  • Partial refund only if paid in-full: If you pay for the full-class amount in-advance, but are not able to attend the class (and if re-scheduling will not work with your schedule) and you wish to have a refund minus the deposit amount – you must provide written notification to us 24 hours before the start of the class.
