Urban Conflict Training - First To Fight Tactical Solutions

A rising need for a class that covers the demands of operating a firearm in a dynamic environment like homes and around vehicles has long been in the works. We here at First To Fight have spent countless hours preparing a training that would fit the needs of the changing shooters needs. This class will be focusing on several factors of urban conflict. As always real world instructors from the vast urban theaters of war in Iraq and Afghanistan will be providing a first hand “lessons” learned approach to offer the most detailed training possible. To increase the knowledge retention and get the most out of this instruction we will be teaching it in one of the areas only shoot houses. This structure is designed to let the student learn and apply through live fire the fundamentals and more advanced tactics that will be learned over the course of two days.

What will be covered?

This intense course will focus primarily on hands on, down on the range instruction. Classroom lecture will be very limited to the fundamentals and practice of key skills. Then it’s down range to perform practical application with dry runs followed by live fire. We will cover everything from approaching structure, breaching and gaining access, movement fundamentals, to fatal funnel tactics, and high probability engagement areas. We will continue from single person tactics into two person operation and will include operation around vehicles. Day one will consist of primarily pistol tactics. Day two is almost all on the range and will focus on both carbine and shotgun operation. It will be up to the shooter what weapons system they choose and we welcome the students to bring both if they would like. Day two is all about building on the fundamentals and adapting each weapon system to the shooter and the task at hand.

When, Where, What do I need to bring, and How much?

This class will be held at the Oakhill Gun Clubs newly built shoot house located at 1990 Pline rd Lyons MI 48851. Directions available at oakhillgun.club. The class is scheduled to be held on July 9th and 10th Starting at 0800 both days and concluding at 1800 on day one and approx 1600 on day two. The cost of this two day class is 350.00 this will include lunch and water. A deposit of 200.00 is required to hold you spot. This is non-refundable but is transferable. Cancellation notice is required at least 2 weeks prior to class. First To Fight Tactical Solutions LLC reserves the right to cancel or move the class to accommodate the shooting evolution, We also may remove any shooter for unsafe practice. In the event of cancellation by First To Fight a full refund will be issued to all students affected. For any student removed for safety violation no refund will be issued.

Gear list:

Several items may be available for rent from First To Fight with advanced notice, excluding firearms.

Shooter needs weapons of their choosing, holsters and slings where appropriate.
A holster for pistol preferably outside the waist band or drop.
Spare magazine holders for pistol and rifle mags, a plate carrier is ideal for both purposes however any number of vests or belt holders are available.
Eye and ear protection
Gun cleaning supplies
Sunscreen and or bug repellent
Rain gear if applicable
Closed toed shoes or boots
Long pants are required.
Water carrying device such as a camelbak is suggested.
Ammo
- Pistol will require approx 250 rounds
- Rifle will require approx 400 rounds
- Shotgun will require approx 250 rounds.

Shooters can always bring more ammo if desired.
